This year’s Ryder Cup has been intensely disappointing for those who experienced high hopes for Team USA but faced frustration during Day 1’s Foursomes and Fourball sessions. The memes were strong though. Disappointment looms for the weekend.

If there weren’t two more days still to come, this year’s Ryder Cup should be dubbed the Bloodbath at Bethpage. It should be so right f^cking now.

I live in Denver. I was up at 4:20a (see what I did there) and frankly very excited about Day 1 Foursomes. They were due to tee off at 5:10a local time (Mountain Time). And after Bryson’s majestic first tee shot I was ready to proclaim USA the champs. Um, that did not last long. Below you will find the memes. They summarize what I hated on Day 1 at the Ryder Cup. Final Thought: As a Florida Gator football fan I can’t help but think… Is Keegan Bradley golf’s version of Billy Napier?

Maybe I am pulling the fire alarm too early. Perhaps I am just venting. Or maybe the eye test is showing me what the rest of the weekend has in store… No Gators football but similar if not worse disappointment.
