So for many of my readers I think this post will come off as fairly incendiary and maybe counter-productive to the grander mission of getting some semblance of El Tigre back on Tour, at least for the majors.

Tiger Woods was a sweaty mess this past weekend at The Hero World Golf Challenge at the Albany Club in the Bahamas this weekend.

Believe you me, I don’t want to be typing this post if it can’t be praising Tiger for powering through and playing aces all weekend. But the facts of the matter suggest Tiger can and could string some 9’s together, but more or less lacks the golf endurance needed to win, both physically and maybe more importantly, MENTALLY. He is just out of shape, golf shape. And by the way, he should be. We all know he is coming back from ankle surgery and before that almost losing his leg and before that back surgeries. The guy is a machine.

However, for us Tiger fans we yearn for old Tiger and that might not be fair to the man as it is a hard pill to swallow that that Tiger is never coming back. I think I am starting to agree with some, the few, who say Tiger will never win again. If the HERO was a suggestive data point – he won’t.

El Tigre, whom I love, finished 20 strokes behind Scottie. He lost to Scottie by 5 every day (on average). Plus the sweating. And, I can’t see past the probability that he’s ‘roided up. There, said it.
